O Instituto Politécnico de Portalegre promove, entre os dias 19 e 22 de maio de 2025, mais uma edição da sua Semana Internacional, reunindo docentes e colaboradores de instituições de ensino superior parceiras, oriundos de vários países. Este evento constitui uma oportunidade única de promoção do diálogo intercultural, partilha de boas práticas e reforço da cooperação académica internacional.
A Semana Internacional tem como objetivo principal estimular o desenvolvimento de redes de contacto e o intercâmbio de experiências profissionais em diferentes áreas do conhecimento. Neste âmbito, o programa deste evento inclui sessões de trabalho especialmente dirigidas a participantes académicos e não académicos, com atividades centradas no ensino, na formação técnica e na colaboração interinstitucional.
Para além das atividades académicas, o evento contará com uma forte componente cultural e social. De facto, os participantes terão a oportunidade de conhecer o património natural e histórico do Alto Alentejo, através de visitas ao Centro de Ciência do Café, em Campo Maior, e ao sítio arqueológico de Ammaia, em Marvão, bem como com a atividade lúdico-cultural “Discovering Portalegre” dinamizada pelo Centro de Línguas e Culturas do Politécnico de Portalegre.

Between 19 and 22 May 2025, the Portalegre Polytechnic University will be holding another edition of its International Week, bringing together teachers and staff from partner higher education institutions from various countries. This event is a unique opportunity to promote intercultural dialogue, share best practices and strengthen international academic cooperation.
The main aim of the International Week is to stimulate the development of contact networks and the exchange of professional experiences in different areas of knowledge. In this context, the event's programme includes work sessions specially aimed at academic and non-academic participants, with activities focusing on teaching, technical training and inter-institutional collaboration.
In addition to the academic activities, the event will have a strong cultural and social component. In fact, participants will have the opportunity to get to know the natural and historical heritage of the Alto Alentejo through visits to the Coffee Science Centre in Campo Maior and the Ammaia archaeological site in Marvão, as well as the ‘Discovering Portalegre’ recreational and cultural activity organised by the Centre for Languages and Cultures of the Portalegre Polytechnic.
